Most of you probably should know who the Juggernaut is, and for those of you who don't, the word itself should suffice to giving you a hint. Strengthened by the Gem of Cyttorak, the Juggernaut is already an unstoppable force to be reckoned with.
So a befitting way of describing him now upon receiving the hummer of Kuurth during the events of Fear Itself would be: even more unstoppable.
In the first issue of Fear Itself: Uncanny X-men, the plan was to remove the Juggernaut's helmet in order to subdue him with the ol' psionic attack, as it's the only thing to render the Juggernaut unconscious. To complicate matters further, Kuurth: Breaker of Stone had already gained a following of mutant haters, despite laying waste on everything and all. As always, the tricky part was getting the Juggernaut's helmet off him, which Hope Summers finally succeeded in doing, after sending in the welcoming committee comprising of, well, almost every one of the X-men, including the master of magnetism himself, who'd even thrown in a navy vessel for good measure. Things as usual did not go as planned, as the psionic assault courtesy of Emma Frost backfired, resulting in her being possessed by whatever was possessing the Juggernaut momentarily before passing out.
The second issue mainly concerns convincing, with the aid of X-man Collosus's sister Magik, Cyttorak himself that the Juggernaut now works for a new god, on those lines, and we'll probably be seeing a more human Cain Marko wielding the hammer of Kuurth in the next issue provided he was indeed relinquished of the man's role as the demon's avatar. When Collosus, greatly opposing the idea of Magik offering herself to be the demon's avatar, decided instead to touch the demon's gem himself, this only begs the question: what exactly will it cost the whole world? Will a demon-possessed Collosus actually help matters, or worsen them?
